About OneHQ
OneHQ provides managed IT and cyber-security services to organisations in New Zealand. Its service range includes IT support, infrastructure, cloud services, cyber-security work and productivity technologies, including AI-related solutions.
The OnlineNZ project concerned visibility in Christchurch and Auckland. Business customers searching for an IT support partner need to understand the particular service offered and whether it fits their organisation. A broad technology message alone does not answer every question behind searches for managed services, cloud support or cyber security.

The challenge: expertise not reflected in search content
The original case study described weak search coverage for important service terms, especially in Christchurch. Core service pages lacked depth and a clear topical structure, and the site did not have a developed approach to the two target markets.
The brief required a combination of content and technical work. Simply adding regional names would not explain OneHQ’s services more fully. The site needed a clearer relationship between service topics, regional relevance and the pages a potential customer would reach from search.

Our work: audit and service-content expansion
OnlineNZ reviewed the website’s service pages, headings, metadata, internal links and technical issues. Keyword mapping was used to identify which searches belonged to which services and where the existing content was not providing enough detail.
Content was expanded across managed IT, cyber security, AI services, cloud solutions, helpdesk support and IT consulting. The pages were restructured with targeted headings and supporting explanations. Internal links connected related services, helping visitors continue from a broad topic to the detail relevant to their requirements.

Regional structure and technical improvements
The project added Christchurch-focused service content and improved Auckland relevance within the agreed scope. Supporting work included service-region schema, metadata changes, internal linking and technical performance fixes.
The aim was to make the site’s service coverage easier to understand without losing the distinction between different IT disciplines. Regional pages had to support the business offer rather than become an isolated collection of location names disconnected from the main services.

Project results
The original case study reported first-position results for a group of Christchurch searches during the first month, including managed service provider, cyber security, IT support, cloud services and AI-related terms. It also reported increased visibility and organic enquiries across the two target markets.
These results refer to the historical SEO engagement. They are not a statement of today’s rankings or a guarantee that another website will follow the same timeline. The case demonstrates how deeper service information, clearer internal structure and regional relevance were combined for a specialist B2B provider.
